In a nutshell it's our web browser's memory.
What is cache?
Whenever we browse the internet, we download websites (the images, text, videos that make up the website) onto our computer, so the next time we wanna view that same website again our computer will view the already downloaded files instead because it’s quicker.
What are cookies?
To save us time having to re-enter our login details to certain sites and fill the same old data (Our same name and same address) into forms, our browsers save this kind of information as “Cookies”. It’s like cache but instead of files cookies will store data.
So how do you clean cache in Chrome?
Short answer: Get this extension
1. Go to File, and select Clear Browsing Data…
2. Inside the Advanced tab make sure only the cache checkbox is checked.
