The Internet
The internet is a network connecting computers and servers.
In a nutshell
The internet is a network connecting computers and servers.
This enables computers and servers to communicate and exchange files.
How the internet works
Analogy: Deliver a piece of furniture to John.
First you’ll need to disassemble it so you can fit it inside your car, then you drive through the road that takes you to John’s address and finally you reassemble the furniture.
Thats how a computer sends a message to another computer.
1. The message gets disassembled and placed into data packets by Transmission Control Protocol (TCP).
2. The data packet goes through the port. It travels to the Internet Protocol address (IP address).
3. Once it arrives, TCP unpack the data packet and reassembles the message.
