Hardening a WordPress site
Checklist to make sure you're website doesn't get hacked.
Secure passwords
This is bad.
This is good.
Basically, the more longer and complicated they are the better.
Stay update
Make sure your version of WordPress and all of your plugins are update.
Make monthly backups
Of both the database and the all the files. ie the whole site. So when it does get hacked, we’ll be able to rectify asap!
Protect the wp-config file
Protect the wp-content directory
Protect the htaccess file
Don’t use admin for a username
